Abbeyfield Croydon House opened in 1986 shortly after the opening of the first Abbeyfield house in Australia.

 

Abbeyfield Croydon House is a well-maintained and affordable accommodation option for older people who are looking for a private bedroom, support, quality meals, and companionship.

 

The home is situated in a suburban street in Croydon, in a lovely garden setting, close to shops and transport within easy walking distance.

 

It provides safe, home­-like and affordable housing for older people in our community. 

Abbeyfield Dandenong House

Abbeyfield Dandenong House opened in 1997 to originally house older members of the Mauritian community who were isolated, lonely and no longer wished, or were unable, to live alone.

 

The house was developed as a community project in response to a very real need.   

 

The house is a large, warm, and comfortable house.

 

While close to all amenities it is located in a quiet area of Dandenong.

Abbeyfield Dingley Village House

Abbeyfield Dingley Village House provides affordable and comfortable accommodation for 11 residents.  

 

Each resident enjoys their own spacious single room with bathroom and share the living, dining, laundry facilities.

 

The view from each room is into the garden, and the living and dining rooms overlook a covered barbecue and outdoor living area often in use during the warmer weather.

Our Frankston house has 10 self-­contained bedrooms surrounded by beautiful gardens and park.

Abbeyfield North Melbourne House is an adaptation of a disused church in an inner suburb of Melbourne. The house was opened in 1997.

 

The house is large, warm, and close to all amenities. Residents have easy access to a range of public transport options, major hospitals, Victoria Market, the Errol Street shopping strip and the open spaces of Royal Park.

  

The house offers a relaxed, supportive environment comprising of 10 self-contained studio apartments, a dining room and two lounge areas, together with a laundry for the use of residents.
