Residents in an Abbeyfield House pay a rent based on 70 per cent of the aged care / disability support pension, plus 100 per cent of Federal rent assistance. When ever the pensions increase so to does the rent dollar amount. This rent covers all food, employment of housekeepers, and most household expenses.
