Job vacancy - Admin and Member Services Officer
Abbeyfield Australia is a small national community housing provider. We provide fantastic affordable ‘assisted living’ housing to older people, and younger adults with an intellectual disability - and we need an admin and member services wiz!
The primary function of this role is to give admin support to our CEO and provide member services to our wonderful volunteers.
It is a diverse hands-on role and you will spend your day working closely with the CEO, responding to volunteers’ enquiries, assisting with grant applications, processing payroll, invoices and debtors, preparing BAS statements, and helping with Board agendas and minutes.
Your key interfaces will be with our CEO, Financial Controller, board and volunteers.
Competence in MS Office is essential and some exposure to event management and basic web site management would be well regarded. We use MYOB and MS Access, so some proficiency with those would be ideal – but otherwise we’ll train the right person. Knowledge of the community housing sector would useful.
We’ll negotiate flexible working hours with the right person but we are thinking about 16 hours per week over three or four working days. There is scope for the role to expand.
