Abbeyfield Ainslie

The Ainslie house is a purpose built home funded as a joint venture between ACT Housing Trust and Abbeyfield ACT in 1989.

It offers companionable living for 10 older people on low income. It provides an opportunity to live in a small community with privacy, independence and security. You will have your own private, ensuite bed/sitting room, with comfortable and well-appointed communal living areas, laundry and a nice garden. A lifestyle designed to help people stay independent with no worries about maintenance, cooking and household costs. Main meals are home cooked by a full time housekeeper and weekend cook. The Ainslie house is managed by a dedicated voluntary committee of management. The house is a Non-smoking environment and there is No entry fee.
